The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:18 that "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." I pray that His nearness brings us comfort and strength.

Though our hearts mourn, we hold on to the promise of eternal life. As Scripture says in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14, “We do not grieve as those who have no hope, for we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him.”
1. “Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.”
2. “At rest with the Lord.”
3. “In God’s care, you rest above, in our hearts, you rest with love.”
4. “Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.”
5. “Forever loved, forever missed, forever in our hearts.”
